I grew up on a farm and was always fiddling about with machinery. I really enjoy the practical aspects of the course in the workshops and my tutors are really good. I preferred the workshops at Coleg Gwent’s Crosskeys Campus, compared to other colleges and feedback from friends who were already studying at Coleg Gwent was great. I’m currently on an apprenticeship with Doncaster.

What level would an apprenticeship at the RAF be?
To be an apprentice you will need to be employed in the relevant sector working a minimum of 16 hours.
Is there an apprenticeship to do with paramedics?
Unfortunately not.
Where can you do an apprenticeship to be an electrician?
Electrical Apprenticeships are delivered at our Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone campus.
How much do you get paid as an apprentice?
National Minimum Wage for an apprentices at the current time is £4.15 per hour
How long is an apprenticeship?
Level 2 Apprenticeship is between 12 -18 months. Level 3 depends on the route. Construction such as Brickwork and Carpentry is 12 months. Engineering, Plumbing and Electrical are 24 months.
Which one would be best Ebbw Vale or Crosskeys for the electrician apprenticeship?
Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone deliver Electrical Installation i.e. domestic. Crosskeys deliver Electrical Engineering which is commercial.
