269 acre working farm
Coleg Gwent’s fully operational farm at the Usk campus is a 296-acre estate, home to a 200-strong dairy herd, 250 sheep and a range of other farm animals. It’s used to give students hands-on agriculture and countryside management experience, allowing them to get to grips with commercial, arable and livestock systems. As a working farm, students also learn about management and record-keeping.

The Equestrian Centre at our Usk campus, runs equine events which include unaffiliated dressage and show jumping for all ages and abilities, and inspiring professional lectures from professional vets, to information on the latest trends and techniques.
